Life: Full Colour reflects on a successful appearance at the Anglesey Antiques Fair.
Against the beautiful backdrop of the Anglesey countryside, the Mona Show Ground provided a wonderful setting for our first venture into the world of antiques fairs.
Taking our collection of period furniture and fine art beyond the walls of Y Segontiwm in Caernarfon was something of an adventure. Selecting, packing and transporting a carefully curated collection of original paintings, antique furniture and decorative pieces presented its own challenges, but the experience proved enormously rewarding.
The fair attracted visitors from across North Wales, Cheshire, Shropshire, Greater Manchester and further afield. What particularly encouraged us was the genuine appreciation shown for the quality, craftsmanship and individuality of the pieces on display.

Our collection of fine art attracted considerable interest, with visitors recognising and discussing works by artists of distinction, including Emil A. Krause, Stuart Lloyd, Warren Williams and William Selwyn. Equally pleasing was the enthusiasm for our period furniture, particularly among those who appreciate the character, patina and history of authentic antiques.
Conversations beyond price
There is something special about meeting true collectors. Conversations extend far beyond questions of price or provenance. They become exchanges about artistic merit, craftsmanship, history and the pleasure of living with beautiful objects.
At a time when economic uncertainty continues to influence spending decisions, we were particularly heartened to achieve sales of both original art and furniture to discerning buyers. It reinforced our belief that there remains a strong appetite for pieces with individuality, integrity and a story to tell.
For us, the weekend was about much more than sales. It was an opportunity to introduce Life: Full Colour to a wider audience, make new connections and share our enthusiasm for bringing art and antiques together.
And, of course, there was the pleasure of returning home through the glorious Anglesey landscape, reminded once again of the beauty and inspiration that surrounds us here in North Wales.

What comes next?
Later this month, we will be launching our updated online collection, featuring many of the paintings, period furnishings and decorative treasures that we simply couldn’t transport to the fair.
Our ambition remains the same: to bring together exceptional art and authentic antiques, celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of different generations.
After all, we see ourselves not simply as dealers, but as temporary custodians of beautiful things, helping them find their next home and the next chapter in their story.
